Meeting called to order at 7:00 AM
Presentation Brian Sites, Chair of the Bike & Walkway Committee, is an avid bike rider and recognized that many folks in town enjoy and use our town for recreational and athletic training.  He sees this as an opportunity, to enhance the sense of community, elevate historic aspects of the town and impact the economy with additional soft traffic.  The committee has mapped out an 8.6 mile loop, featuring several smaller loops within, connecting the parks and green spaces in town.  Their logo is derived from the shape of the loop, and the tag line is “Start here — No. Yarmouth, the town where others began.”   Because the committee is ad hoc, the project must go through the Recreational Committee, and must have approval of several governmental agencies.  The group is already working with the Royal River Conservation Trust.  The first step will be signage, it is hoped the project will be funded through grants, and private monies.
Discussion A recap of the Trade Show:  Recommendations:  1: Larger lettering on signs next year.  2:  More electronic advertising  3: Mail postcards out one week later.  4: Expand the ads to include Cumberland.  5: Refine and improve the door prize process.  6: Louder PA system.  7: Better heat distribution if we use the Skyline Farm venue again.

Mary Conroy will create a Facebook Page and post meeting announcements there as well.
